On Sunday 6 November, members of GMB MK City Branch and supporters from MK Trades Council welcomed Laurie, who was cycling from Burnley to London to hand in a petition to No 10 Downing Street. Laurie and his support Team had left Burnley on 4 November and were passing through Milton Keynes on their way to London, arriving in
