Workers Memorial Day is commemorated throughout the world and some UK cities have conducted ceremonies for a number of years.
The first time Milton Keynes City celebrated Workers Memorial Day was on Sunday the 27th April 2014 at the Rose Bowl in Campbell Park.

MILTON KEYNES PALESTINE SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN
In May 2010 a Branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign was established in Milton

Wow – what a turn out !!
Over 200 people responded to the call to meet at the Civic Offices in central MK to protest at the attack on public sector pensions, the attack on the welfare state and the potential privatisation of the NHS.
